1. Look at what type of the guitar you are having. Is it a classic guitar or folk guitar? You will need to know that so that you can buy the right type of the strings. 2. Remove the old strings. This can be done by loosen all the strings by turning the pegs until your strings are very loose. 4. Get the new strings. Carefully take them out of the package one by one. To avoid mixing them up. Do not take out the new one unless the first one has already been installed.
5. Start putting on the sixth strings. Start at the bridge first and then move on to the turning peg. After that you come back to put on the fifth strings and so on.
